Dewey Crager and Diana O’Dell, owners of Parkway Feed, said that this is the 2nd major fire at their place. Matter of fact, it’s 3 weeks short of 7 years ago when the first fire struck. Someone called this fire in just minutes before 9 am Saturday morning, December 14th. The current theory is the heat lamp hanging over the crickets may have caused this one. The last one, they state, is still a mystery. The fire investigator didn’t know what caused it although there were four cans of diesel or kerosene on the scene which were not left there by anyone at the store.
